The Mares Dragon is a heavy duty BCD with a luxurious padded back plate, comfort lumber system and harness to ensure a perfect fit and stability. The harness has very wide, padded epaulettes and 50mm swivel shoulder adjusters that you will find easy to use, even with thick gloves on. The cummerbund has a Velcro overlap and is adjustable at the back plate; a large side lock connector fastens the waistband. At the rear of the jacket a skeleton plate and webbing cam band will hold your cylinder firmly in place.
The Fusion Bladder air cell is a high lift, classic style with buoyancy in the front and the addition of winglets that wrap around the cylinder to give you excellent stability when swimming in a horizontal attitude. As you inflate the aircell it slides on the harness retainers and the cummerbund preventing any unwanted squeeze. On the surface it will lift you in a comfortable upright position.
Its integrated weight system features Mares new Slide and Lock-System (SLS), the handle has a red / green indicator that reassures you that the weight-pouches are secure and locked and there are two additional trim-weight pockets behind the back plate.
The Dragon is finished in high quality materials with numerous D rings, two very large zippered pockets, three dump valves and Mares robust Ergo inflator.
